Gazi University 2021-2022 academic year fall semester of the educational activities to be carried out in associate, undergraduate and graduate programs; Within the framework of the Higher Education Council's letter dated 22.05.2020 and numbered 31978 and the issues in the "New Normalization Process Guide in the Global Epidemic" dated 29.07.2020 and the recommendations of the Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Covid-19 Advisory Board at its meeting dated 24.08.2021, number 03. It has been decided to comply with the following general points:

1- In our university, face-to-face education will start on October 04, 2021 in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, for undergraduate and graduate programs.

2- It is necessary to take into account the relevant legislation in the condition of attendance to all theoretical and applied courses through face-to-face education.

3- All theoretical and practical courses to be held through face-to-face and distance education, midterm exams, final exams, one-course exams for make-up and graduation, and three-course exams face-to-face,

4- According to the course of the Covid-19 global epidemic, taking into account the number of students in the programs, in force majeure, the number of branches can be increased with the reasoned decision of the academic and administrative boards of the relevant units, the course times in face-to-face education are adjusted according to the current legislation,

5- In the courses to be held with distance education, the obligation of attendance is determined by the relevant units within the scope of the legislation related to distance education, and the course durations are implemented in line with the decision numbered 2021/38 taken at the meeting of our University Senate dated 17.02.

6- From the entrance of the campus, hygiene conditions are regulated in all common areas in accordance with the conditions of the Covid-19 global epidemic, and the principles of mask, distance and cleaning are meticulously complied with,

7- As of October 4, 2021, in line with the Ministry of Interior Circular, HES code and full dose vaccination cards of academic/administrative staff, students and other employees will be checked daily at the entrances to closed areas such as administrative buildings, classrooms, library, cafeteria, gymnasiums and cafeterias on the campus of our university, those who do not have a full dose vaccination card should declare NEGATIVE PCR tests performed twice a week, at most 72 hours ago,

8- Application of the Ministry of Health Covid-19 Infection, Isolation and Quarantine Rules to Covid-19 positive and contact persons,

9- In order to carry out the education-teaching process in a healthy way, the relevant units should inform our students, academic/administrative staff, other employees about the vaccination program and organize activities to encourage vaccination, and coordinate with the academic and administrative units to address our students' concerns about the Covid-19 global epidemic. In a way, especially the management of our University; With the decisions to be taken by the relevant unit managers and boards of directors, protection from the Covid-19 global epidemic, completing the vaccination processes, fully complying with the hygiene rules, etc. To be informed and supported on the issues to the extent of available possibilities,

10- According to the course of the Covid-19 global epidemic; It was unanimously decided to make the necessary arrangements by the Senate of our University in line with the decisions taken by the authorized institutions and boards.
