Professor of History Education, Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education of our Faculty. Dr. Nejla GÜNAY attended many training seminars that shed light on our recent history regarding her academic studies throughout April.
The first of the events was held online at the Center for Eurasian Studies on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. At the conference titled “Tribes, Immigrants, Emigrants and Refugees”, Günay introduced his book of the same name and discussed how the migrations took place in Maraş and its environments, and the administrative and legal solutions developed for the management of migration and settlement processes in the Ottoman and Republican periods, based on archive documents.
