Neslihan SOYSAL and Sena ERGENÇ, senior students of the Department of Biology Education of our faculty, are participating in the final of the TÜBİTAK 2242 University Students Research Project Competition held in Giresun with their project titled "Cell Models Created with Recycled Products for Students with Visual Impairment". Our teacher candidates have developed three-dimensional materials for students of all age groups with visual impairment, where they would have the opportunity to feel the structures in plant and animal cells in a way that they would perceive with their sense of touch and listen to the scientifically prepared information about each structure. We congratulate our teacher candidates who contributed to the preparation of these materials, which are useful for students with visual impairment, and wish them continued success.
